Wollundry Grove 2017 news
Our record year for season 2017 was off to a flying start from the previous wet 2016 winter with a massive flower set in November. Come harvest, there were ‘olives galore’!
We crushed and processed around 74 tonnes of our own fruit and added to the district, were around 130 tonnes in total.
The pomace pit was bulging at the seams to the point of over flowing, and there was a small mountain of olive leaves from the leaf extractor.
Award wise, we received a Silver and a Bronze from the Australian International Awards Competition held in Adelaide and three Silvers from Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
